Fitness Kettlebells

Our Supreme Fitness Kettlebell classes are designed to help you achieve your fitness goals through educating you on how to use the kettlebells properly with strict form and uniquely designed fitness/conditioning programs. With friendly encouragement we will make sure you can overcome any challenges we present to you.

We currently offer 7 classes a week plus we do one on one private lessons as well.

Our Supreme Fitness Kettlebell classes here at Cobourg Tae Kwon Do are designed to give you an extremely effective workout while teaching you proper and safe kettlebell techniques and movements. Classes will cover conditioning, mobility, and flexibility. The kettlebell classes are 45 minutes in length. Each class will include warm ups, the main workout, and a cool and stretch.

1. How many times a week do you recommend I attend classes?

We currently run our kettlebell classes here at Cobourg Tae Kwon Do 6 days a week offering 7 classes. We recommend a minimum of twice a week and go from there. How many times you attend class depends on your fitness goals and how quickly you recover from previous workouts. You are welcome to come to any many or as little classes as you like per week.

2. What is the payment structure like?

You can pay on a monthly basis or you can choose to pay 3 months at a time or more. We do offer multi month and family discounts as well.

3. What type of payments do you accept?

We accept cash, debit card, credit card, money order, or cheque. Whatever it easiest for you.

4. Who teaches the Kettlebell classes at Cobourg Tae Kwon Do?

Master Jonathan Field teaches the kettlebell classes. He owns and operates Cobourg Tae kwon Do. He is certified as a martial arts instructor, a MMA conditioning coach, and Level 2 Kettlebell instructor with Agatsu Inc. He also is a 5th degree black belt in Taekwondo, 8 time world champion, and 2 time world record holder. His education and experience will help you achieve your fitness goals through educating you on proper kettlebell form, techniques, theories, and exercise methods and programs.

5. What will I be learning in Kettlebell class at Cobourg Tae Kwon Do?

You will be taught how to correctly and safely use kettlebells to achieve you fitness goals. You will learn various exercises like the kettlebell clean, snatch, jerk, press, and various other exercises to strengthen, tone, and condition the whole body and core. You will also be taught how to incorporate bodyweight exercises into your kettlebell regimens. You will be expose to various exercise methods and programs in order to keep the workouts fresh and exciting.

6. I have no previous experience in Kettlebells, is this class for me?

Yes, whether you are a absolute beginner or a seasoned veteran there is something for everyone in our Supreme Fitness Kettlebell class. You will be constantly taught and reminded of proper technique and form. You will have access to various size kettlebells in order for you to increase or decrease the intensity depending on your comfort level.

7. What exactly is a Kettlebell?

Kettlebells are a fitness and conditioning tool from Russian that basically looks like a bowling ball with a steel handle on top. Kettlebells can be made of cast iron or steel. Because of how the kettlebell is balanced compared to other free weights they offer a unique method of exercise and conditioning.
